Terror, bombs and White Wolves

These days, the newsmedia report on bombings in London. This takes place
right after the madness in Littleton, when the so-called Trenchcoat Mafia
with the help of home-made bombs and firearms executed 15 schoolmates. In
Denver, Littleton, there has been a vampire LARP, which is based on the
American game company White Wolf's gaming concept, which includes various
hints on murder, assassination and "things that go boom in the night".

In London there are bombs exploding - aimed at immigrants and homosexuals -
by people who claim to belong to The White Wolves, which in turn is said to
be a splinter group of the Nazi organization Combat 18. Vampire- and
werewolf LARP:ing is popular in London, too. Here in Sweden, we have
vampires and werewolves in accordance with White Wolf's concept. By chance
does the name of the company - which supplies all the information one might
want on how to kill and assassinate and suggestions on scenarios for acts
of terror for role-players and LARP:ers - coincide with the Nazi splinter
group White Wolves.

By chance, role-players have for a long time carefully studied the theory
on how to execute or injure people with e.g. the type of bombs used in
London:

"It's desirable to create shrapnel if one is aiming for injuring people.
Shrapnel is very easy to create but there is relatively few terrorist bombs
that has that function. The easiest way to do this is to place small pieces
of metal, nails, pellets or suchlike on the surface of the bomb." (the
gaming magazine Gryning 2/93/excerpt form the book "De övergivnas armé")
By chance, role-players, LARP:ers and terrorists live in the same context
with combat, terror and white wolves. Where do they get everything from?

Terror, bomber och Vita Vargar
Media rapporterar i dagarna om bombdåd i London. Detta sker strax efter
vansinnesdådet i Littleton, då den s.k. Trenchcoatmaffian med hjälp av
hemmagjorda bomber och med skjutvapen avrättade 15 skolkamrater. I Denver,
Littleton, har det under lång tid pågått ett vampyrlajv, som bygger på det
amerikanska spelföretaget White Wolfs (Den vite vargen) spelkoncept, som
innehåller allehanda infallsvinklar på mord, lönnmord och "things that go
boom in the night".

I London sprängs bomber -riktade mot invandrare och homosexuella- av
personer som säger sig tillhöra The White Wolves (De vita vargarna), vilka
i sin tur sägs vara en utbrytargrupp ur den nazistiska organisationen
Combat 18. Även i London är vampyr- och werewolflajv populära. Också i
Sverige har vi varulvar och vampyrer i enlighet med White Wolfs koncept.
Händelsevis sammanfaller benämningen på spelföretaget - som tillhandahåller
all önskvärd information om tillvägagångssätt för mord och lönnmord och
förslag till scenarier för terrorhandlingar för rollspelare och lajvare -
med den nazistiska utbrytargruppen White Wolves. 

Händelsevis har rollspelare sedan länge ingående ägnat sig åt tankemodeller
för hur man kan avrätta eller skada människor med bl.a. den typ av bomber
som användes i London:

"Att skapa splitter är alltid välkommet om man är ute efter att skada
människor. Splitter är mycket enkelt att göra men det är ändå
förhållandevis få terroristbomber som har en splitterfunktion. Det enklaste
är att lägga små metallbitar, spik, småkulor eller dylikt på sprängytan"
(speltidningen Gryning 2/93/Ur boken "De övergivnas armé")
Händelsevis vistas rollspelare, lajvare och terrorister i samma
begreppsvärld med strid, terror och vita vargar. Var får de allt ifrån?
