If National Lampoon
put out a gamer movie, it would look a lot like Gamers.
A gang of old gamer
buddies, NAME, NAME, NAME, and NAME, have been chronicling every
hour of their role-playing adventures, and are on the verge of
breaking the world record for the most logged hours of Demons,
Nymphs, & Dragons. All they need is one more night of
gaming, and the title will be theirs -
According to the commentary
track, Wizards of the Coast granted permission to use the name
Dungeons & Dragons in the film, but later pulled
out right before filming, so the name was switched to Demons,
Nymphs, & Dragons to keep the "DND" abbreviation.

BONUS
DICE - One bonus die for the title screen - a shot of
a desktop with an answering machine sitting on it, the number
99 on the display. (If you leave the title screen up long enough,
you'll hear a long string of anguished messages by NAME over the
death of his character - I didn't have the patience to see if
there really are 99 messages, though).
DICE BAG -
Gamers has earned a bag of X dice - It's a well-produced
comedy film with a lot of shock humor. But please remember - it
is NOT for children.
